Service Description

It is believed to be Pitru Soul never dies but only change their bodies. Soul separated from the body to be in Pitru Loka. It is believed that nothing in this universe are ever created or destroyed. Only the form changes but the existence and essence remains the same. As we all know a seed becomes a tree and the tree becomes a seed but the Essence of that particular plant never is lost. Based on the below Bhadavad Geeta we can infer that the soul never dies. As Lord Krishna says, नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः। न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः।।2.23।। No weapon can cut the soul into pieces, nor can it be burnt by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind. The human body is basically made up of five elements namely Earth(Prithvi), Water(Jal), fire (Agni or Tej), Air (Vayu) and Ether or Space(Akash) and together they are termed as Panchamahabhoot. The ancestors who have not taken rebirth are stuck due to some karmic deeds are believed to be in Pitru Loka. Since, their soul exist in Pitru Loka after death, their existence cannot be undermined because they are connected with their lineage in one or the other way as their lineage are the extensions of the soul. So their lineage has to perform some certain responsibility towards them in terms of obligations and duties. When one doesn’t perform these, then that lineage incurs karma out of the breach of duty. The karma is not decided by Pitru but by the nature itself. This is commonly known as “Pitru Dosha”. So Paying homage to ancestors of one’s lineage are known as PITRU KARYA or PITRU UPASANA or PITRU POOJA (पितृ कार्य), for which our Hindu religion has given very importance to perform. It is believed that performing such PITRU UPASANAS in the specified holy places like GOKARNA will be fine as it is known to be SiddhiKshetra as well as MuktiKshetra.
